I would like to apologize for my long period of inactivity.

Due to a tight schedule and an unhealthy amount of stress, I have been unable to work on any musical projects. However, now that I am working on a summer schedule, I should have some more free time to compose.

Oh, a visitor? Thanks for taking the time to stop by, honestly.

The name's spinningcannon, aka Jewel Lightraye. I've been a music addict since I was old enough to reach the keys on a piano, and won't be backing down anytime soon. I have a ton of inspiration in this frantic head of mine, and a good deal of it gets translated into audio format. You'll get to hear some of that here.

Yes, I will be using this website as a means of musical communication with you guys. If you know me, you know that I put not only a great deal of time and effort but a great deal of who I am into my work, audio and otherwise. Everything I upload here will have been meticulously written and re-written, mused over for hours, and finally accepted as a job well done. I'm a perfectionist with my work, don't mind me.

Last but definitely not least... I want to inspire you with this music. Inspire you, move you, get you tapping your feet, get you thinking and dreaming, whatever. As long as my musical endeavors leave you with something meaningful then I have done my job.

Well, I won't hold you up any longer, kids. Go get some sleep.

Here's hoping for the best until we meet again.
